Training

Training services are provided to meet the varied requirements of individual organisations and users. The Training Department will help an organisation to identify its primary and secondary end users, together with their differing needs, and recommend the formation of training groups.

Often, the introduction of new technology creates a gap between those skills already possessed and those required to fully utilise the new system. ProTech recognises the importance of customising its training material and method of delivery.

Training at ProTech Computer SystemsThis ensures that initial training sessions will produce well motivated end users who are confident and who can apply new skills quickly and effectively. ProTech is able to provide training sessions both on-site and/or at its own training rooms in Birmingham.

We recommend and encourage the identification of key individuals who will subsequently act as in-house trainers within an organisation. This 'Train the Trainer' approach ensures that training issues and queries are formally identified and answered in a systematic and pre-determined manner. ProTech also offers clients comprehensive training services in the use of Windows, Microsoft Office and other Microsoft applications.

Classroom

ProTech have invested significantly in the in house training facilities that it provides. Class-rooms allow user training to take place away from the normal office distractions and provides for hands-on training in a dedicated environment.

Training courses have been developed over many years in conjunction with both our highly qualified in house trainers and most importantly historic users of our application software.

As well as a full complement of Pro-7 based training courses clients can benefit from a host of supporting training courses covering products ranging from Microsoft to Financial Packages and any of the third party products supplied by ProTech.

On Site

As an alternative to training at ProTech, trainers can deliver training to organisations on site. This can fit more conveniently into a busy working schedule and provide new skills within the environment in which they will be used.

As with classroom based training, training courses have been developed over many years in conjunction with both our highly qualified in house trainers and most importantly historic users of our application software.

As well as a full complement of Pro-7 based training courses clients can benefit from a host of supporting training courses covering products ranging from Microsoft to Financial Packages and any of the third party products supplied by ProTech.

Train the Trainer

We recommend and encourage the identification of key individuals who will subsequently act as in-house trainers within an organisation. This 'Train the Trainer' approach ensures the presence of Pro-7 experts within an organisation, while end user training presents new software within a familiar framework of business processes. In-house trainers ensure that an organisation can conduct its own ongoing and new staff training moving forward.

Senior Management Training

It is important that from the most senior level down individuals have the appropriate skills to benefit from the functionally rich suite of application software provided by Pro-7. As an organisation we recognise that senior management often find it difficult to allocate time to subjects such as training and in some instances would not wish to adopt the same syllabus as many typical end users.

As such ProTech offer specialist senior management training courses that can be tailored to the direct requirements of such individuals in terms of both content, time and location. By way of example this can extend to evenings, weekends and off site seminars.

“The Society’s membership continues to expand on a global basis and therefore it is essential that we have a fully integrated record management system which enables us to easily keep track of all contacts and correspondence we have with members. Using Pro-7 we are able to profile individual members and interact with them based on their individual preferences whether that be email, letter or by phone. The active management of their data records will help us to sustain the highest level of customer service.”
