Training

Training

Often, the introduction of new technology creates a gap between those skills already possessed and those required to fully utilise the new system. ProTech recognises the importance of customising its training material and methods of delivery. This ensures that initial training sessions will produce well-motivated end users who are confident and who can apply new skills quickly and effectively.

ProTech's Training Department works with clients to identify its primary and secondary end-users, together with their differing needs and recommend the formation of training groups and plans for training deployment. A complete training services package is provided to meet the varied requirements of all individual organisations and users.

We recommend and encourage the identification of key individuals who will subsequently act as in-house trainers within an organisation. This 'Train the Trainer' approach ensures that training issues and queries are formally identified and answered in a systematic and pre-determined manner.

In all cases training services are configured to the exact requirements of our clients. Where classroom based training is required it can be provided, equally where senior managers require private 'one to one' training this can also be offered even where such training is required out of regular working hours.

As stated above, ProTech work closely with clients to understand the makeup and requirements of individual organisations and their members of staff. In many cases training requirements extend beyond just the application software and encompass both third party packages (Microsoft) and new procedural requirements of the implementation.

This is further supported by both user and training documentation.

ProTech recommends that user documentation be created from a combination of three distinct sources, namely:

  • Training documentation developed specifically for each client
  • Base user documentation from Pro-8
  • Procedural documentation for business processes

We always ensure that we are fully aware of an organisation's business processes and requirements. We are able to customise and develop user documentation to meet the needs of all end users, complete novices or experienced users alike.

All ProTech documentation employs the use of screen displays, clear descriptions and step by step tutorials. This provides a complete guide and instruction manual to enable users to reference information as quickly and easily as possible.

Following live system use, a ProTech account manager will have regular and scheduled meetings with appropriate members of your staff. During these meetings reviews would be undertaken as to the level of ongoing or new training required. After each assessment a new training programme can be defined and delivered in line with the exact requirements of the organisation.
