Seminar Verdict: Modern CRM for Educating, Examining, Accrediting and Regulatory Bodies

Hart Square Host Successful Breakfast Seminar Sponsored by ProTech 

Hart Square hosted one of its popular breakfast seminars on Tuesday 24 April at Hush Restaurant, Mayfair, London. As sponsors, ProTech liaised with Hart Square to ensure that the seminar provided valuable insight into Modern CRM for Educating, Accrediting and Regulatory bodies.

Senior executives from various NFP organisations specialising in qualifications, gathered for networking and breakfast before the first session which was presented by Allen Reid, Director of Client Projects for Hart Square. Reid covered the all-important trends and key challenges that organisations with a qualification offering should look at when choosing a CRM provider.   

Emma Dawkins, formerly Director of Qualifications for NCC Education and now Academic Director for NCUK provided first-hand advice for organisations undertaking an IT project. Emma’s insight was gained from her experience of working within the Education sector and partnering with the Protech team who will be deploying an ProTech integrated web and CRM solution for NCC Education. Key topics covered included:

  • The limitations of NCC Educations IT structure, which included physical and technological limitations
  • The two key drivers for change:driving out waste work and improving student experience
  • The procurement process undertaken and criteria checklist to find the right technology partner
  • The reasons for selecting ProTech as the preferred CRM supplier
  • Top 10 Tips for organisations embarking on a CRM technology project

Steve Shiels, ProTech’s Head of Operations, gave the final presentation which fully explained why and how a CRM system should support the 5 key areas of the student lifecycle:

  1. Registration and Enrolment
  2. Examination Management and Fulfilment
  3. Results Management and Moderation
  4. Results Distribution and Certification
  5. Appeals, Awards and Further Progression
