Richard Couchman

Non Executive Chairman
Richard has had a broad business career since leaving the army. His employment has been in telecommunications, computing and internet activities. This has included senior management in EMI and GEC/Marconi. More recent experience has included being the Managing Director of the European operation of a United States telecommunications company and the successful development of a football internet operation. He has been Chairman of ProTech since 2002.
Mark Trouth

Managing Director
Mark is the founder of ProTech Computer Systems and has some 25 years industry experience. His career includes projects spanning organisations that have included Northgate, MDIS, Dowty Aerospace, Messier Services, Bank of Ireland, Ibstock Brick, PHS, The Royal British Legion, The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, The Institute of Physics and many others. Starting initially as an assembler programmer, then working through to consultancy and project management and then general management, before forming ProTech Computers Systems. Mark is also a Director of a number of other technology companies.
Jenny McTiernan

Operations Director
Jenny has operated at senior levels in a variety of sectors, both in operational directorships and in an advisory role as a senior Management Consultant, supporting both public and private sectors. With expertise in leading business expansion, organisational transformation, change management and business strategy, Jenny was invited to re-join ProTech having previously fulfilled the role of Professional Services Director (2000 - 2004) to define and lead the implementation of the Operations strategy having previously transformed Operations within the Royal Bank of Scotland, Lombard, British Car Contracts, NatWest and a variety of public sector organisations including local government, local strategic partnerships, hospitals and healthcare management.
David Gaunt

Finance Director
David joined the Board of ProTech 7 years ago to help manage the financial growth of the organisation following investment. He is a fully qualified accountant with over 30 years of experience including a period with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Christopher Stone

Non Executive Investor Director
Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant, spent a year with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and six years as a partner in a medium sized city firm of accountants specialising in advising small and medium sized businesses from a wide range of industrial sectors. He left the profession in 1988 and for six years was the Finance Director of a Plc manufacturing client.
He is now a portfolio non-executive Director and consultant to a variety of SME's helping them to identify and build growth opportunities and to increase shareholder value.
His current clients include a venture capital fund which invests in and monitors technology opportunities in the West Midlands. His background as Finance Director and Partner enables him to support his clients with a strong blend of practical and professional experience.
Lee Cordell

Director of Development
Lee is responsible for the development team at Protech, including scheduling and specifying work. Lee joined Protech in 2000 as an Analyst Programmer. After leading several large complex projects successfully he was given the responsibility of a Team Manager role, before becoming Director of Development. Lee also performs the role of principle consultant to certain clients where business requirements are highly technical or complex. Lee also specializes in Subscriptions and Finance solutions.
Steewan Singh

Director of R&D / Quality
Steewan is a co-founder of ProTech Computer Systems and has over 26 years industry experience. His career has spanned Tarmac, Northgate and MDIS with many technical disciplines including Oracle, Unix, PICK, Reality, A*L*L, Pro-IV. He has focused the last 15 years on the Microsoft development environment and supporting technologies.
Colin Staves

Director of Support & Client Care
Colin has over 25 years experience in the software industry, having worked initially as a Programmer, then Analyst/Programmer, then Team Leader and then in various management roles. Colin worked for GEC and then for a number of software houses before joining ProTech in 2006. Colin is a professional member of the British Computer Society.
Darrell Manger

Director of Professional Services
During Darrell's 30 years in the software industry he has acquired extensive experience in all areas of the project life cycle. Initially starting as a trainee programmer at Roll Royce Ltd, Darrell has acquired extensive business knowledge and experience working for a variety of companies including, Northgate, MDIS and Systemware Services Ltd where he worked as a Project Manager.
After a period of time working as a freelance consultant, where his clients included a number of blue chip companies such as RAC, Caterpillar (UK) Ltd, Direct Line and RBS. In his spare time Darrell is a keen sportsman and plays Rugby.
